For the ninth spring in a row, the artists and performers behind the Urban Pond Procession will wind their way through the Pawtuxet River watershed area. This year’s 1.5 mile route is the longest yet, with several stops along the way. Arrive for 5:30 at JT Owens Park – that’s the one on Niantic Avenue by the bowling alley and that mysterious Enterprise dealership – to get shuttled over to Roger Williams Park. Then parade – er, process – back with Big Nazo, the Extraordinary Rendition Band, and Narragansett storyteller Thawn Harris. There’s a big finale, including a floating sculpture, from 8-9pm.
