Sculptor Elizabeth Duffy and photographer Brian Miller have spent years working together on A Series of Minor Miracles, an ongoing collaboration based on a single Van Eyck painting. The exhibit currently features about two dozen pieces centered around the idea of middle-class domesticity. Miller’s small, spare photographs feature a light bulb, a flannel shirt, a dog’s paw, garlic. The room is filled out with Duffy’s furniture and sculptural pieces. An uncushioned tete-a-tete seat – the kind used for Victorian courting – or a chandelier made out of keys to every home in which the couple have lived.
