There’s actually a very good piece about Chloe Sevigny in Alexander Chee’s recent essay collection How To Write An Autobiographical Novel. It’s something of an aside – most of the book is about Chee’s time in San Francisco activist circles, the publication of his first (autobiographical) novel, and his year as a catering waiter in New York. (William F. Buckley makes a cameo, too.) He’ll be giving a free public talk, “The Writer and the Life,” to kick off the 2018-2019 Nonfiction!@Brown Lecture Series. Copies of the book will also be available for sale and signing.
