Providence Public Library’s cosmopolitan Empire Club has joined forces with the business-minded literary folks of Goat Hill for an evening with suspense writers Laura Lippman and Alison Gaylin. It’s not a reading, it’s a chance to hear two writers talk about their writing, and how they turned their writing into a career. Gaylin’s an Edgar Award nominee who writes the Brenna Spector mystery series, while former Baltimore crime reporter Laura Lippman has won pretty much every award there is for a mystery writer to win. There will be cocktails! It’s free but an RSVP is requested – just email lmoulton@provlib.org.
