James Bond films are nothing if not glitzy, so Newport’s Rosecliff mansion seems like a particularly fun setting to watch a documentary about George Lazenby, one of the odder footnotes in the Bond universe. When Sean Connery retired from playing 007, he was replaced by Lazenby, an Australian male model who had never acted in his life. Now in his late seventies, the charismatic Lazenby talks about his life, from his beginnings as a used car salesman, while younger actors comedically re-enact the details. Martinis will be shaken on the loggia at 6; the film starts at 7, followed by a Q&A with the director.
