Choreographer Bill Evans has been a name in the dance world for the last, oh, half century, and now the 75-year old Rhode Island transplant is bringing a whole dance festival to town. Joined by Courtney World and Kristen Socci, Evans will perform his first all-tap show since moving to the area two years ago. The program features works that the three produced collaboratively, as well as Walker’s own works and a piece by Bill “Bojangles” Robinson. It’s the first event in AS220’s Modern Movements Festival, which runs through next week.
