Thirty-seven artists are represented in Blanc de Blanc, the Jamestown Arts Center’s annual summer group show, which is once again dedicated solely to the color white. (As if Jamestown wasn’t white enough already, ha ha.) Works include painting and sculptural pieces by a number of locals, as well as artists from New York, Texas, Canada and the United Kingdom. Highlights include Joan Hall’s eerie Fading Forest / Warming Sea, an environmental warning that’s not too dissimilar from the piece that earlier this year won Hall the Best In Show award at the Newport Art Museum’s juried members’ exhibit.
