A group exhibition at the Attleboro Arts Museum marks the fifth anniversary of the Boston Marathon bombings. It’s drawing some national press – Newsweek covered it – and includes a mix of visual art with artifacts related to marathon running, from prosthetic limbs to shoes that were left in Copley Square in the wake of the 2013 bombings. I haven’t seen the show in person yet, and I won’t judge it based on JPGs, but I’m particularly intrigued by the abstract prints made by Abby Rovaldi, who strapped zinc plates to her shoes and then walked 26.2 miles.
