This event was canceled because of snow.
Some time ago, I made a list of Providence institutions that I’d never set foot in. I’ve never eaten a spinach pie from Jeanette’s, or gone shopping for jewelry supplies at Wolf E. Myrow. I’ve also never been to the Music Mansion, which sits at the corner of Meeting and Congdon Streets. One Sunday a month the 138-year old Chopin Club opens the mansion doors for a free* musicale and tea event featuring classical performances (and tea). Recent concerts have featured the music of Beethoven and Prokofiev, as well as Rudolf Sieczynski and Johan Halvorsen.
