Minneapolis punk quartet Tongue Party released a pretty great self-titled EP last year, a seven track, fourteen-minute cassette party that’s all unintelligible yelling and restlessly propulsive riffs that have me dancing in my seat even as I’m here typing at you. No idea what all the echo-y yelling is about – drugs, I guess? – but that’s not the point. Nor does it matter whether the minute-long fuzz of “Richard Flair” has anything to do with pro wrestling’s Nature Boy. Tongue Party’s fifteen-minute live set will leave you craving more. They share the stage with Mis(s)invader and Goon Planet.
