Frankie Cosmos is a three-piece band fronted by 21-year old Greta Kline, whose low-energy talk-singing sounds more suited to folk than synth-heavy balladry. I still can’t figure out whether I actually like Fit Me In, the new EP they’re touring around right now. Also on the bill are Columbus, Ohio-based All Dogs, a pop-punk outfit that sound slightly out of date, in the sense that they probably would have done very well on college rock radio in the early 2000s. I fondly remember early 2000s college rock radio, so this is not a value judgment.
