Providence musician Iris Creamer just released her Minute-Man EP, and as its title suggests, it’s four tracks pass quickly, in just over seven minutes. As its title also suggests, it’s very sex-forward. Creamer – Dominican, 22, real name Aura Moreno – makes clubby songs with layers and layers of whirly house beats over some partly-sung, partly-rapped lyrics. The highlight is the two-minute finale, a sensual and funny rap with a slip-n-slide metaphor, appropriately titled Track 4. The sonically unwieldy show also includes politically minded LA punk band Hit Bargain (formerly known as “the band whose singer would literally step on men’s faces during shows”) and local radical brass band What Cheer? Brigade.
