Sorry to recommend Shakespeare for the fifth consecutive weekend, but that’s summer for you. Burbage Theatre Company has been roaming Pawtucket and East Providence with its free outdoor production of Julius Caesar, the tragedy about senators who actually take a stand against a wayward tyrant. It’s not my favorite tragedy – I hate it, honestly – but Burbage usually does a good job with Shakespeare so this might be worth a shot. As a side note, the company is currently running a GoFundMe to help build out their new space along the Blackstone in Pawtucket.
Rose Larisa Park is the one in Riverside near the tiny beach, across the street from the Crescent Park carousel.
