Summer might be winding down, but photographer Kathie Florsheim takes us into the ocean one last time with her latest series of photographs. No stranger to beach photography, Florsheim previously documented the people and coastline of Roy Carpenter’s beach in South Kingstown. Here, though, there are no people and no sand. It’s a series of context-free seascapes, sunlight reflecting off the water (although it’s sometimes buried under a Cape Cod fog.) The Grimshaw-Gudewicz Gallery is located at Bristol Community College.
