There’s a late morning cultural bazaar happening at La Galeria del Pueblo, a small gallery at the northern edge of Pawtuxet Village that’s run by RI Latino Arts. Gallery curator Pablo Youngs is showing his own work inside – brightly patterned spraypaint/stencil pieces – while in the gallery’s outdoor lot there will be drumming, Puerto Rican Wooden Santos carving demonstrations, and more. It’s a family friendly event, with artist Christina Rodriguez working with young people on wish tree ribbon creations that will be hung on the trees of the neighborhood.
