New York quartet Lez Zeppelin are an all-female Led Zeppelin cover band, which probably you could tell from their name. My knowledge of the original Zeppelin is embarrassingly weak; I spent years thinking “Whole Lotta Love” was a Tina Turner original, and I’m still never sure which song is “Stairway to Heaven.” Led by voice actress Shannon Conley, Lez Zeppelin’s been around for over a decade now, playing major festivals and scoring lots of press over the years. They played the Park Theatre in Cranston last year, which sounded like it was a life-changing experience for everyone who went.
