Singer-songwriter Lissie has released four albums in the past decade, though the only one I hear with any regularity is Catching a Tiger, her 2010 debut. It’s good music to listen to at work, relatively innocuous but not so lyrically dense that you might get distracted. Breezy is a good word for it, maybe. I’m also partial to “Ojai”, her sweet 2016 ballad about the New Age-y California town. Between albums, she’s released a few EPs, which primarily show the folk-pop singer’s penchant for random covers (Danzig, One Direction, Kid Cudi, Fleetwood Mac). Jillian Kay opens.
