I haven’t seen Joel Schumacher’s 1987 horror comedy The Lost Boys since I was a child, but the soundtrack is permanently etched in my skull because my dad was a big fan and we owned a CD player but only a handful of CDs to play. I am not exaggerating when I say that I have heard that album hundreds of times, and while everyone seems to remember the movie as a campy but cool, the soundtrack is LAME, primarily classic rock covers done in a bro-y but sax-heavy style of 1987. No thanks! On the other hand, this oily concert clip actually does make me want to watch the whole movie again. I hope Sax Man gets included in the upcoming CW update of the story.
