Northampton musician Déja Carr brings her guitar to Providence for a low-key Monday show. (Note the time.) Using the name Mal Devisa, Carr records quiet, intimate songs that are sparse but not delicate or cutesy. “Silence” starts off unobtrusively before Carr’s vocals take an unexpectedly acrobatic turn, while “Judy Bloom” doesn’t appear to be about the author Judy Blume. Family Planning, Sianna Plavin, and Izzie share the bill. By the way, this is also the final week to see Alec Thibodeau’s mixed-media show Humunculus, which is currently installed in the gallery.
