The Slow Rhode is “a unique and important addition to the city,” according to one of yesterday’s voters, while others praised the duck wings, the late hours (“perfect place to go after a show at the Columbus, Wilbury, etc.”), and Dave the bartender (“basically a local celebrity.”) Overall it is, to quote one voter, “ballin.”
Rosalina voters praised the eggplant, the olive oil that comes from the owner’s family in Greece, the “home cooked flavor,” and Kevin the server (“best server in PVD”). It’s also a local favorite for people from Trinity Rep and Providence Public Library.
With 62.05% of the votes, Rosalina defeated The Slow Rhode to take the championship. Congratulations!
