Method Man and Redman are nowhere to be found in How High 2, the sequel to their cult hit stoner comedy which is being released on 4/20 this year. (The original is pretty funny, and has one of those random casts that includes Lark Voorhies, Fred Willard, and even Spalding Gray as an overenthusiastic Harvard black history professor.) Though they haven’t released any albums as a pair since 2009, the two tour regularly, doing sets that rely heavily on their Y2K-era heyday. Which is not to say that they’re stale. Redman appeared just a few months ago on the track Wild Cats, a highlight of last Method Man’s solo album. Spocka Summa and Pretty Poison open.
