It’s a three-day weekend, and that means it’s time for another free Parking Lot Mega Show at the Scurvy Dog. This one’s sponsored by Ghost Pepper Tequila, a beverage I hope to never consume, but the lineup includes ten bands. Little Tomb might be my favorite, three-piece skate rock with vocals intoned in an detached and vaguely threatening sort of way. I also always like Cannibal Ramblers, whose ten minute song about an oversexed dog works well in a live setting. Since it’s the Scurvy Dog, the bill skews towards punk purism, with Boston’s Jonee Earthquake Band, New Hampshire’s M.O.T.O, plus locals Hot Tramps and Bob McGunk and the Hangovers.
