New Hampshire’s Pleasure Gap are touring to support their enjoyable new album Scatter, the sort of indie rock affair that could easily have been released to great acclaim circa 1998 or so. Lots of guitars and yelly angst which only occasionally veer towards the ridiculous. (“I puked all over today,” the singer warbles at the beginning of one Pavement-like ballad. “’Cause I’m so siii-iiiiii-iiiiick.”) Also on the bill are Sharpest from Boston, plus local favorites Willows and Snowplows.
