It’ll be awhile before we get to see Laverne Cox star as Frank N. Furter in the Fox TV remake of The Rocky Horror Picture show, but it’s about time. The strangely undying original has been screening for over forty years now. It’s not actually a very good movie – the end drags on forever, honestly – but local screenings have popped up here and there since the Meadowbrook closed in 2001. So put on your fishnets or whatever and head to the Lincoln Mall for the locally based RKO Army and a lot of very enthusiastic teenagers yelling at the screen and singing along with Tim Curry and Susan Sarandon (and Barry Bostwick and Meat Loaf).
