You don’t see Restoration comedy in Providence very often, but Head Trick Theatre is tackling She Would If She Could, George Etherege’s 1688 play about all the frivolous, oversexed people among London’s smart set. The bawdy play includes a skirt-chaser on a quest to marry an untouched heiress, two women who don masks to go flirting in the park (!), and a side plot featuring impotent Lord Cockwood and his wife, a Lady (in title) who throws herself wildly at any passing man.
