Sine Nomine is an early music choir that bounces between Providence and New Bedford. Now in its 25th season, the choir is doing an evening in German. They will be joined by a Baroque band led by Laura Gulley, along with recorder (Catherine Hawkes) and two guest sopranos (Heidi Dion and Lisa Babbitt). Glenn Giuttari, the choir’s founding (and current) director, says the group will be doing “some flashy chamber music of Telemann, Schütz’s fabulous and introspective Selig sind, and Bach’s ‘Jesu Joy of Man’s Desiring’ and the motet ‘Lobet den Herrn'”.
