Fall River choral ensemble Sine Nomine celebrate contradictions with Pain, Pleasure, Passion & Resurrection, a program that runs the gamut from the 16th through the 20th century. Directed by Daniel P. Ryan, the 27-member ensemble will perform pieces from dreamy Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina (pictured) as well as Bach, Purcell, Pärt, Casals, and more. According to the press release, “each work offers a different sense of consonance and dissonance, from plea to celebration – pain to pleasure.”
