The Chorus of Westerly is hosting a performance by twelve-member choral ensemble Stile Antico, who are visiting from England. The polyphonic early music group is unique because they perform as a chamber ensemble, without a conductor and with each member working collaboratively to craft each performance. Their program marks the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare’s death, and includes work by Thomas Morley and Thomas Weelkes, as well as Shakespeare-texted works commissioned specifically for Stile Antico by Huw Watkins and Nico Mulhy.
