NEVER MIND! THIS ONE GOT CANCELED.
Country legend Tanya Tucker hasn’t released a new album in seven years, so it’s a little surprising that she’s doing a big nationwide tour. With a stop in Woonsocket, no less! Tucker’s been in the country business since the seventies, when she cultivated a reckless outlaw image and racked up fifteen top ten country singles between 1972 and 1980. “Delta Dawn,” the title track from her debut album, became a hit when Tucker was only thirteen years old. (Now fifty-eight, the singer’s been having some health troubles lately. She canceled six dates of the tour this month due to an upper respiratory infection, but as of right now the Stadium show is still on.)
