“I stand by my assertion that Providence and Providence related music is the best,” The Body’s Lee Buford said in a recent release announcing the band’s 20thanniversary tour. Though they formed in Arkansas and decamped to Oregon seven years ago, the prolific metal duo still do most of their recording at Pawtucket’s Machines with Magnets. Last month Buford and Chip King released Everything That Dies Someday Comes Back, a loud, industrial-inspired collaboration with Brooklyn duo Uniform. Next month they’re releasing a double album of remixes. This show’s something of an all-star reunion and features regular collaborators Assembly of Light Choir, as well as a set from the formerly local Lingua Ignota, performing her first Providence show in three years.
