Do you still listen to albums? I like to think that I do, but honestly most of my music intake occurs during the workday. More often than not I’ll just throw on a random Spotify-generated playlist and then listen to whatever the algorithm wants me to. Though they’re still primarily known for their 1993 single “Cannonball,” the Breeders released their fifth album late last winter and it’s very good. But I listened to it twice, or maybe three times, and I definitely haven’t put it on once since the week it came out. It’s a far cry from 2003, when I played their Title TK album to death.
