A quarter century after debuting on Broadway, Wendy Wasserstein’s 1989 comedy The Heidi Chronicles gets revived at Trinity Rep with Angela Brazil as the title character. Heidi Holland starts out as a high school girl in the Vietnam era who rides the crest of consciousness raising and second-wave feminism to end up an art historian in the money-grubbing Reagan era. It’s a fairly light comedy, albeit one that touches on some serious topics. It’s also pretty much the only thing happening this week that’s completely unrelated to Christmas.
