Little Tomb, Alec Redfearn, and The ‘Mericans are playing Julian’s annual Longest Night party, a celebration of both the winter solstice and a slew of heavy beers with unpronounceable Flemish names. (“And the 2015 Melchior Calvados by Picobrouwerij Alvinne is straight outta Zwevegem…”) Little Tomb [pictured] are a fun, lo-fi amalgam of surf-goth guitars and yelling. (“No gods! No masters!” That kind of thing.) Meanwhile, The ‘Mericans recently reconfigured to focus on a more stripped-down Americana sound than the noisier rock they’ve been releasing for the past decade. And there’s free food! Admission is one winter coat or five cans of non-perishable food for Federal Hill House.
(Side note: the long-running Monday night Scrabble club is moving over to the Wild Colonial for the evening.)
