Also known as the Seven Sisters, the Pleiades is a cluster of stars – “a cluster of middle-aged, hot, B-type stars,” according to Wikipedia – that shine brightly in the winter night sky. It’s also the title of a new play by Darcie Dennigan, one which gets its world premiere this week as part of The Wilbury Group’s new works program. The play is about six sisters trying to re-connect with a seventh after her death. It’s described as “tragic, and often hilarious” and “takes audiences on a fantastical journey from a ramshackle house on the edge of a lake, through Death School, into the afterlife, and beyond.”
The show runs for four performances only, from Wednesday through Saturday.
