THE RESURRECTION OF MICHELLE MORGAN

Now in its ninth year, Brown’s Black Lavender Experience is a four-day festival of queer black performance, mixing student work with free staged readings and solo shows by nationally recognized playwrights and performers. Most intriguing is a staged reading of a new work by Christina Anderson, a playwright who actually got her start at Rites and Reason in the early 2000s. Details are scarce, but it’s called “THE RESURRECTION OF MICHELLE MORGAN: (a Biomythography) Commissioned for Her Grandchildren”. Hopefully it will live up to that oddly punctuated and unwieldy title.
