Two big foreign films were released this week, but they’re polar opposites in every way. Indian action thriller Saaho is big, ultraviolent, expensive, three hours long, and currently has a rare 0% score on review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes. At Providence Place you can even see it in IMAX. Meanwhile, Mexican rom-com Tod@s Caen is breezy, PG-13, under two hours, and it received a glowing review the one American newspaper that actually bothered to write about it. The concept is silly – Mia (Martha Higareda) is a TV producer who is promised her dream show, but only if she gets a playboy architect (Omar Chaparro) to fall in love with her.
