A dozen actors run around in Burbage’s fun production of Twelfth Night, Shakespeare’s comedy about mistaken identities, mischievous drunks, unrequited love, and twins parted in a shipwreck. It’s the kind of production that works because everyone involved seems to be having a lot of fun, most notably Tom Gleadow as the boozebag Sir Toby and Margaret Melozzi as the sneaky servant Maria. Both actors are a generation removed from the rest of the cast, but their antics are so entertaining that you kind of forget the whole mistaken identity/twin story. It’s also fun watching Dillon Medina go full-on Ned Flanders as Malvolio, the play’s pompous villain and the object of their ridicule.
