As the spring semester draws to a close, URI hosts a free festival – the first of its kind – featuring work by students, faculty and alumni. There’s literary performance, video and multimedia installations, and a pretty extensive concert program featuring new music performed throughout the day. (There’s something to be said for the convenience of a daylong art festival that starts at 3pm.) Composer/cellist Laura Cetilia will give a solo performance, and multimedia artist KYLE b. co. is giving a lecture-performance called HairStory. The complete schedule is available on the Facebook.
