Blink and you’ll miss this one: Woody Harrelson and Laura Dern star in Wilson, a prickly little comedy based on a graphic novel by Daniel Clowes. Clowes’ previous movies (Ghost World, Art School Confidential) dealt mainly with teenagers, but this one’s all about Harrelson’s title character, an abrasive pottymouth who tracks down his ex-wife (Dern) and learns about the daughter he never knew he had. The girl was put up for adoption, but the pair track her down and wacky antics ensue. It looks really funny – Harrelson’s weirdo indie career phase is endearing – but reviews are mixed and it’s only playing in Warwick.
