Two-time Oscar nominee Woody Harrelson probably won’t pick up a third nod when this year’s nominations are announced on Tuesday, although he should; he’s really great in Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri. But anyway, he comes to URI to discuss Lost In London, the world’s first ever live feature. It played around this time last year, with Harrelson casting his stoner hippie poker buddies Owen Wilson and Willie Nelson in a comedic re-enactment of Harrelson’s actual 2006 arrest after an incident in a black cab. The extremely choreographed caper was shot start to finish in about 90 minutes and broadcast live to cinemas throughout the world. Now you’ve got a second chance to see it. A screening of the film will be followed by a live discussion.
