Movie Lounge – October 5

Gold Diggers of 1933

Movie Lounge – October 5

The week’s 10 best-sounding movies, ranked strictly by how much they might be worth seeing. Another one to note is the lecture/screening at the RISD auditorium on Monday by Elegance Bratton and art director Chester Algernal Gordon, who collaborate on documentary and dramatic work spotlighting black gay and trans culture in NYC and the house-ball circuit’s influence on fashion, pop music and television. It’s free and open to the public.

Note: at one reader’s request, FREE! screenings are now more prominently highlighted in blue.
