This Week at the Movies

Ten — actually, eleven — movies to check out this week, ranked by how good they might be.

One notable film that didn’t make the list is the Brazilian biopic Nothing To Lose 2, which is playing at Providence Place both in Portuguese and (dubbed) Spanish this week. It’s the sequel to a film about the leader of a controversial Brazilian church. It became Brazil’s highest-grossing film in a decade, although hardly anyone actually saw it.
